We
provide customize guidance on conversion of existing PFA license to new FSSA
license OR guidance on applying for a new FSSA license to Central Licensing
Authority OR to State Licensing Authority. License/registration with FSSAI is mandatory
for every Food Business Operator (FBO). Whether an FBO requires a License or
registration depends upon the factors like capacity of production/ handling etc.,
nature of food business activities and area of operation.
FSSAI license is mandatory before
starting any food business. All the manufacturers, traders, restaurants who are
involved in the food business must obtain a 14-digit registration or a license
number which must be printed on food packages.
